One way teachers use blogs in the classrooms is for the teachers to post about their classroom announcements and assignments to the students. The blog in the classroom is a place for everyone to see that is going on and the announcements. Maybe a student missed an announcement in class they can look on the teachers blog to reread the announcements. The teacher can post different articles and things she talked about in class that day.
Another way teachers use blogs in the classroom is to post online discussion questions for the students. The teacher can post a discussion post for each students to reply and read another students post. You could post a article and have the the students read the article and answer a discussion question about it. Another possible way for teachers to use blogs in have a running assignment for the students to work on there own blog throughout the semester.
Having a running blog throughout the semester would be benefit the student especially if they were in an technology class. This teaches the students different tools that can be used on the computer. I think I great way to for teachers to use blogs in the classroom.
